We backup our expertise with our No Fix No Fee service so if we cannot recover your data we don't charge you.

Recovery Process:

Depending on the type of Intel Raid system, the data recovery process can take several paths depending on the Intel Raid configuration of your system.

In all cases all hard disks are imaged as part of our standard recovery procedure. This ensures the intergity of the original hard disk's.

We then work with the hard disk images to process the Intel Raid system by recompiling the data. This process depends on your Intel Raid configutation but often involves de-stripping or recompiling the hard disk images and then processing the data.

We are the only data recovery company that images all hard disks before and after de-stripping-recompiling to ensure the highest possible chance of recovering your data.

We recover Intel Raid systems from all Intel Mac, Windows, Linux and Unix systems. So no matter whether its Intel HFS+, HFS, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, XFS or ZFS we can recover your data for you. We can also determine the Raid configuration if you are unsure.

Intel Raid Raid Configuration:

Intel Raid devices support several different data storage configurations, which provide the owner with different data protection levels and different recovery chances if the Intel Raid systems fails. Please call us on 0207 112 1770 for more details on your setup.

RAID 0: Data is distributed across the drives. This is the best-performing configuration with maximum data capacity. A single drive failure causes loss of all the data.

RAID 1: Two shared disks are mirrored. This configuration provides great speed but only half of the potential storage capacity. This configuration is rarely used on Intel Raid devices but we still see some Intel Raid 1 systems with this configuration.

JBOD: Data on the Intel Raid System is spanned along all disks. This ensures full storage capacity and good performance. Single drive failure may cause all data loss. We don't see this often in Intel systems unless it has been setup by an network engineer for a purpose.

RAID 5: This is now the most popular and the default for most of Intel's Raid servers. Data is distributed across the drives using backward parity rotation. This configuration is fast but space equal to one disk's capacity is lost. The Intel Raid 5 system will continue to operate normally even after single drive failure. We normally receive a lot of Intel Raid 5 systems due to a one or two disks failing in the raid array or a rebuild that has not completed correctly. Intel RAID servers can have a wide variety of RAID configurations.

Intel Raid Hard drive systems support different interfaces. Some of the interfaces supported include: Intel Raid PATA Drives, Intel Raid SATA Drives, Intel Raid Portable Drives, Intel Raid Mobile Drives, Intel Raid IDE Drives, Intel Raid SATA Drives, Intel Raid SATA II Drives, Intel Raid SATA 2 Drives, Intel Raid SATA III Drives, Intel Raid SATA 3 Drives, Intel Raid eSATA, Intel Raid SAS Drives, Intel Raid SCSI Drives, iSCSI, Intel Raid ESDI Drives, Intel Raid Fibre Channel Drives, Intel Raid USB Drives, Intel Raid Firewire Drives and Intel Raid PCMCIA Drives.

Intel Raid servers have been extremely popular over the last few years due to their good name and robust technology. While very good hard disk drives, Intel Raid servers, like all other hard drive systems, they do fail. A sudden failure of the Intel Raid server normally means that the raid configuration or electronics has failed in most cases.
