Iomega Data Recovery:
Our Iomega pricing starts at £275+vat for single disk systems and from £500+vat for multi disk Iomega systems. Price will depend on Iomega system configuration. We are based in London so disk's can be dropped off or sent into us. We believe we offer the quickest and best Iomega Data Recovery Expertise in the UK to recover from failed Iomega systems. We have recovered from 1000's of Iomega systems over the last 10+ years. Please call us on 0207 112 1770 to speak to one of our highly qualified engineers for an instant quote.
No matter what your Iomega raid setup is we can recover the data. Whether it's RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 10 or RAID 50. If you don't know the configuration we will be able to advise you via email or over the phone.
We specialise in recovering data from failed Iomega NAS-Raid systems including Iomega StorCenter Pro, Iomega Ultramax, Iomega Black, Iomega Silver, Iomega Network Attached Storage, iomega eGo.
We also recover data from all standard Iomega External Disk systems.
We have been recovering Data from all Iomega systems going back the last 10+ years.
Our expertise is 2nd to none and in 99% of Iomega Data Recovery cases we recover all data.
We backup our expertise with our No Fix No Fee service so if we cannot recover your data we don't charge you.
Depending on the type of Iomega system, the data recovery process can take several paths depending on the Iomega configuration of your system.
In all cases all hard disks are imaged as part of our standard recovery procedure. This ensures the intergity of the original hard disk's.
We then work with the hard disk images to process the Iomega system by recompiling the data. This process depends on your Iomega configutation but often involves de-stripping or recompiling the hard disk images and then processing the data.
We are the only data recovery company that images all hard disks before and after de-stripping-recompiling to ensure the highest possible chance of recovering your data.
We recover Iomega systems from all Apple Mac, Windows, Linux and Unix systems. So no matter whether its Apple HFS+, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, XFS or ZFS we can recover your data for you. We can also determine the Raid configuration if you are unsure.
Iomega Raid Configuration:
Iomega devices support several different data storage configurations, which provide the owner with different data protection levels and different recovery chances if the Iomega NAS (Network Attacxhed Storage) systems fails.
RAID 0: This is the default for older Iomega's NAS system's. Data is distributed across the drives. This is the best-performing configuration with maximum data capacity. A single drive failure causes loss of all the data. This method is gradually getting replaced with other raid configurations but is still being used in older Iomega NAS systems.
RAID 1: Two shard disks are mirrored. This configuration provides great speed but only half of the potential storage capacity. This configuration is rarely used on Iomega devices but we still see some Iomega NAS systems with this configuration.
JBOD: Data on the Iomega NAS System is spanned along all disks. This ensures full storage capacity and good performance. Single drive failure may cause all data loss. We also see this confirguration on older Iomega NAS devices.
RAID 5: This is now the most popular and the default for the latest Iomega NAS systems. Data is distributed across the drives using backward parity rotation. This configuration is fast but space equal to one disk's capacity is lost. The Iomega NAS system will continue to operate normally even after single drive failure.
Iomega Hard drive systems support different interfaces. Some of the interfaces supported include: Iomega PATA Drives, Iomega SATA Drives, Iomega Portable Drives, Iomega Mobile Drives, Iomega IDE Drives, Iomega SATA Drives, Iomega SATA II Drives, Iomega SATA 2 Drives, Iomega SATA III Drives, Iomega SATA 3 Drives, Iomega eSATA, Iomega SAS Drives, Iomega SCSI Drives, iSCSI, Iomega ESDI Drives, Iomega Fibre Channel Drives, Iomega USB Drives, Iomega Firewire Drives and Iomega PCMCIA Drives.
Iomega disk's have been extremely popular over the last few years due to their good name and robust technology. While very good hard disk drives, Iomega, like all other hard drives, they do fail. A sudden failure of the Iomega system normally means that the raid configuration or electronics has failed in most cases.
Common Iomega Error Messages:
- Clicking / Ticking / Scratching / Grinding Sounds
- Not spinning, Not powering on at all
- Drive not working after Power Surge
- Freezing or locking up the computer or buring smell from system
- Not detected by computer's CMOS/BIOS
- Water or Liquid spilled on Hard Disk
- Accidental reformatting of partitions, Accidental Deletion of Data, Virus Problems
- Hard disk is unable to be accessed ( Inaccessible drive or partition )
- Unable to boot computer due to system getting dropped.
- The disk is seen in Operating System but asking to be formatted
- Front red light on system not displaying
- Error reporting ' Primary Master disk failed, Press F1 to continue'
- User error such as NAS Re-Configuration
